In the paintings Vesna Krsmanovic transfers her personality and visions using an instinctive approach done by fast strokes, intense/dynamic colors and a strong architectural structure; somehow an imaginary crossroad between Cobra movement, Abstract and Cubism.

She finds her passion representing the female universe as a category of the soul, a personal journey through various elements of the women’s world and its contradictions: eccentric, arrogant, weak, scared, stunning, fighter, sensual, attractive, cold, passionate.

It is for her the ideal medium to interpret human weakness and virtues regardless sex, race, social background or confessions. Representing women she satisfies her huge need of freedom, never prisoner of any rules or scheme but always in research of a new powerful identity.

Watching her art one won’t find peaceful landings but intense emotions.
